Project Strategy

Agency: Floral Enthusiasts, Event Hosts, Floral Showrooms
Target Audience:
Floral Enthusiasts & consumers, Event Hosts, Floral Showrooms
Brief: Create a modernized brand that rises above local competitors

Waymar required an identity that stood out from other local distributors and would present itself as a unique identity to their variation of flowers sold. In collaboration with the creative team at Form & Affect we set out to define the Waymar brand and develop a unique identity that distinguished itself from local competitors. The identity reflects their featured flower, the Delphinium, and the accompanying vibrant color palette associated with those flowers. The logo design itself includes the Delphinium and displays a simplistic and modern design, utilizing a beautiful geometric composition.

Process

A beautiful composition for floral compassion

The identity guide created features the logo usage rules, appropriate color usage, typefaces, and how photographs and imagery should be featured on the website and on social media accounts. The typeface chosen for the Waymar brand is Neutraface 2: a modern font that compliments the geometry of the logo. This will substantially ensure the brand is respected and correctly used for collateral in the future. Waymar’s bold usage of color and vibrance is a fun and yet definitive feature that is included within the brand and the collateral. Examples include the website, sell sheets, and business cards which feature a stunning combination of color, typography, and real life flower products. The goal was to beautifully but genuinely represent the product to consumers and create an eye catching and modern brand that stands itself apart and sustains its elegance over time.
